Jerome, a troubled boy, is sent to work on a ranch for the summer under the guidance of two veteran cowboys. On his journey, he develops an unbreakable bond with the ranch's owner, Mrs. Ainsley (Lindsay Wagner), who inspires him to make a change in his life and make peace with his past.
